Course
Description
This course teaches students the basic principles and techniques of
confined space and elevated rescue systems. Students come out of this
course with the basic skills necessary to function as member of a rescue
team. Students will have complete knowledge of the rescue system that
applies to their work site. With safety as a foundation, students will
go through a series of realistic training evolutions and practice scenarios.
Classroom sessions utilize the latest in multimedia training tools and
cover the latest information on NFPA and regulatory compliance.

Objectives After
completing this course, participants will use pre-planning skills to
create working at height plans and rescue plans. Students will understand
and be able to use group problem-solving and leadership skills that
are critical to successful rescues. Students will be able to demonstrate
their ability to create and use effective rescue techniques. Students
will be familiar with the following:
