Upon successful completion of the VSI Confined Space Training you will
be able to competently protect yourself and others when working in this
inherently hazardous environment. Two training levels allow you to choose
the training that matches your work environment.
Level
I -
Awareness

This training allows you to learn the confined space fundamentals that
apply to your particular work situation. VSI will work closely with
you to identify and train you about the regulations, equipment use,
and work procedures that only impact your work environment.

Level
II
- Systems Training
2 days (16
hrs.)
1 instructor
per 8 students
You will learn the fundamentals of working in confined spaces in an
interactive training environment. This level of training is appropriate
for the worker who has repeated work tasks in confined spaces. Topics
covered include: air testing, S.C.B.A., permits, tripods, and work procedures.
Rescue is a vital component of this course and is stressed constantly
in a variety of practical workplace scenarios.
