Confined Space Level I

Recommended for:
• Workers who occasionally enter confined spaces with potential hazards.
• Maintenance workers
• Safety Professionals

Course Description Confined spaces allow for work to be performed but have restricted entry/exit and are not designed for human occupancy. Depleted atmosphere or injury may render you helpless. This awareness level course allows you learn the confined space fundamentals that apply to your particular work situation. VSI will work closely with you to identify and train your staff on the regulations, equipment use, and work procedures that only impact your work environment.

Course Objectives
Students will be introduced to
• Air testing
• S.C.B.A.
• Permitting
• Tripods
• Work procedures.

Logistics
• No Pre-requisite needed.
• An annual refresher is recommended.
• Length: Half Day (4 hrs).
• 1 instructor per 15 students
