Course
Description
You will learn the fundamentals of working in confined spaces in an
interactive training environment. This course is appropriate for workers
who have repeated or unique work tasks in confined spaces. Rescue is
a vital component of this course and is stressed through out in a variety
of practical scenarios. You
will be trained how to:
Assess
hazards
Rig
temporary systems
Complete
challenging rescue scenarios
Protect
themselves and others when working in this inherently hazardous environment.
Course
Objectives
You will be able to perform entry and exits from confined
spaces. You will perform a number of realistic rescue scenarios allowing
you to gain proficiency. An audit of skills and knowledge will give
you the opportunity to demonstrate sound judgment and abilities in atmosphere
testing, rigging and rescue.
Pre-requisite:
VSI Confined Space II or equivalent.
An
annual workshop is recommended.
