Description
This confined space systems level course trains you to protect yourself
and others when working in this inherently hazardous environment. You
will learn the fundamentals of working in confined spaces in an interactive
training environment. This course is appropriate for workers who have
repeated work tasks in confined spaces. Rescue is a vital component
of this course and is stressed through out in a variety of practical
scenarios
Course
Objectives
Air testing, S.C.B.A., permitting, tripods, and work procedures are
some of the topics covered. Students will be able to perform entry and
exits from confined spaces. A number of realistic rescue scenarios allow
students to gain proficiency. An audit of skills and knowledge will
allow students to demonstrate sound judgment and abilities in atmosphere
testing, rigging and rescue.
Pre-requisite:
VSI Confined Space I or equivalent.
Length:
2 Days (16 hrs).
